Following the fantastic success of last year&rsquo;s event, we&rsquo;re delighted to be bringing Stondon Fireworks Night back for 2026 &mdash; and we can&rsquo;t wait to welcome our local community for another brilliant night under the stars! What&rsquo;s happening?DJ &amp; music throughout the evening Delicious food from our food vendors Drinks available at the Community Centre Bar Fireworks display at 7:30pm Tickets are required for everyone attending. The small ticket charge helps us safely manage the number of people attending and supports us in continuing to put on fantastic events for our community. So bring along your family, friends and neighbours, wrap up warm and get ready for an amazing evening of entertainment, delicious food and a spectacular fireworks display! 🚶 Getting here &amp; parking Please walk to the event where possible.&nbsp;Pedestrian access is available via Station Road and Hillside Road. Our main pedestrian entrance is via the footpath on Station Road, opposite Mount Pleasant. There is no vehicle access to the event and no general parking available. Parking at the Community Centre is limited to pre-booked accessible parking for Blue Badge holders.Accessible parking is first come, first served. If you require an accessible parking space, please send a photo of your Blue Badge and your vehicle registration to <a fr-original-style="" href="mailto:events@stondoncommunitycentre.org.uk" style="text-decoration-color: currentcolor; user-select: auto; box-sizing: inherit;" target="_blank">events@stondoncommunitycentre.org.uk</a> after booking your ticket. Thank you for helping us make the evening run smoothly. 🧥 Please come preparedThe event takes place outdoors on the Recreation Ground, so please check the weather forecast, wrap up warm and wear suitable footwear. 👮 Event stewards &amp; safetyPlease listen to the instructions of our event stewards, who are there to help everyone enjoy the event safely. Our stewards can be recognised by yellow or green high-visibility vests. Please remember that our event stewards are volunteers. Please take care of your personal belongings. If you see anything suspicious or have any concerns during the event, please report it to an event steward. Please act responsibly and do not climb fences, barriers or structures to gain a better view. Keep a safe distance from barriers and follow the directions of our event stewards at all times. Any fires or other safety concerns should be reported immediately to an event steward. Please do not attempt to tackle or extinguish a fire yourself. 🚑 First AidA first aid car will be located next to the DJ booth. Qualified first aid/event stewards can be identified by their green high-visibility vests. 🔎 Lost property &amp; missing personsLost or found personal belongings should be reported to the DJ booth, where announcements can be made via the PA system. If you become separated from a child or another member of your group, please go to the DJ booth and our team will assist and make an announcement via the PA system. 🍺 Alcohol &amp; prohibited itemsPlease drink responsibly. Our bar staff reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated. No alcohol may be brought onto the event site. Illegal drugs and other prohibited substances are not permitted. Anyone found in possession of or using illegal substances will be refused entry or removed from the event and may be reported to the police. 🚨 Emergency evacuationIn the unlikely event that the site needs to be evacuated, please remain calm, follow the instructions of our event stewards and leave via the nearest available exit from the Recreation Ground. Please do not stop to collect belongings or return to the event area unless instructed that it is safe to do so. 🎆 Please noteThe fireworks display is scheduled for 7:30pm. Event timings, entertainment and activities are subject to change if necessary.
