Made in the UK from recycled sterling silver, the fox necklace is a one of Alex Monroe's most classic and recognisable styles and, in this case, a playful nod to Mr Fox himself.

This unique necklace, specially created for the Terry Fox Run UK, features many quiet nods to Terry's Marathon of Hope:

The silver luggage tag at the back clasp has been hand engraved with "Terry Fox" on one side and "1980" on the other.  Inspired by the iconic imagery of Terry running with his police car escort, the ethically sourced Kyanite & Garnet stone briolettes are a visual reference to the red of the map of Canada on Terry's shirt, and the blue of his iconic Adidas Orion trainers. The silver of the fox completes the concept  by referencing the grey of his shorts and the pavement which was his horizon for the incredible 3,339 miles he ran.

This piece has been generously donated by Alex Monroe with all proceeds going to the Institute of Cancer Research.
