LXCL:1 ticket - Uncanny Knotting with Lu

General Admission

Join Lu Firth in a Uncanny Netting workshop exploring traditional net-making through natural materials. Using flax, hemp and nettle fibres, we’ll learn simple knotting and netting techniques once closely connected to fishing, labour and life around rivers and coastlines. We will think about nets as objects of restraint and possibility, and consider the connections we make within our community to keep one another afloat.
