📢&nbsp;IMPORTANT UPDATE: Our Vocation Retreat Day has been moved to Saturday 10th October, 10 am - 5 pm What is God calling you to? Whether you&#39;re discerning your own path or simply curious to understand the different ways people live out their faith, this day retreat is a chance to pause, explore, learn and reflect together as a community. Open to both men and women, the day brings together speakers from across different vocations, including married life, religious life and the diaconate, each sharing their own story of how they found their calling. Meet the speakers who&#39;ll be joining us throughout the day (not listed in speaking order): Mauro &amp; Janet Iannicelli - Mauro and Janet are a Catholic couple with a huge heart for evangelisation. Mauro spent four years training at the seminary in London before discerning his true calling was to Holy Marriage with Janet, and together they&#39;ve built a ministry around helping others grow in faith. They founded Come &amp; See Catholic Formation Ministries, offering free, live-streamed teaching content including their flagship annual course, The Bible Timeline Course. Drawing on years of experience in the City alongside their work in Catholic ministry, Mauro and Janet now dedicate themselves to nurturing spiritual growth, human formation and community across parishes and dioceses, helping others build a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. After studying business management, he built a career in property development, working on important historic buildings and the royal palaces, before setting up his own restoration business and moving to Wiltshire. Everything changed in 2011, when a head-on collision left him with life-changing injuries and little chance of survival. Two years of rehabilitation followed, and unexpectedly, a gift: time lying still, talking with God. He moved to Bristol, joined the cathedral congregation, and began helping at St Mary on the Quay. The Diocese soon invited him to serve at St Nicholas of Tolentino, the Chaplaincy, and Holy Cross, where he discovered real happiness in church work. When a religious sister suggested he consider the Diaconate, he took it to heart, and after six years of formation, was ordained. He went on to serve at the cathedral, and now serves at St John the Evangelist in Bath. Father Eamonn Donnelly SVD -&nbsp;Father Eamonn is a Divine Word Missionary, born in Dublin in 1945 and ordained in January 1970 at Donamon Castle, Roscommon. His first mission posting took him to Mexico City, where he served for seven years before returning to Ireland for vocations work. He went on to serve Hispanic communities across California, drawing on his fluency in Spanish, and spent over 25 years in pastoral ministry in the United States, including a six-year term as Provincial of the Divine Word Missionaries&#39; Western Province, during which he travelled extensively across Latin America and represented the Congregation at its General Chapter in Rome. His studies include a Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary, a Master&#39;s in Education from Loyola University Los Angeles, and a Master&#39;s in Theology from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley. He retired to London in 2016 and continues to support pastoral work in parishes as needed, currently assisting at Hanwell Parish in Ealing. Sister&nbsp;Ernestine Agnes Kou, SSpS -&nbsp;Originally from West Timor, Indonesia, Sr. Ernestine took her first vows in 1996 and her final vows in 2003, also in West Timor. She has been a Missionary Sister for over 25 years and holds the distinction of being the first Indonesian SSpS Sister to serve in England. She currently lives in the SSpS Community in Lawrence Weston. On the day: Alongside the talks, the day will include Mass and time for confession, giving space for prayer and reflection between sessions. This event will start promptly at 10 am, so please try your best to arrive on time. It is estimated to finish by 5 pm, and lunch and refreshments will be provided.
