Salt heals, preserves, and adds flavor. We are also reminded that we are one in Christ. These reminders are taken seriously by the congregation of OUMC and our neighbors at Stella Maris Catholic Chapel, which is why we formed the OUMC & Stella Maris Disaster Reponse Team to provide relief to areas affected by natural disaster. This team has already spent a week in western North Carolina demoing homes, rebuilding homes, removing debris, removing trees, repairing roofs, dropping supplies and helping find homes for those who have been displaced by Hurricane Helene. This team has more trips planned to WNC in November, January, and April, and we hope to continue to be a source of hope and healing for years to come. Please support this vital ecumenical mission ministry.
