This donation will help a lot to achieve our mission. We'll be able to : Offer grants to schools who chose to visit significantly historic locations where Maine had an impact.  Each grant will be a minimum of $200 with some qualifying for larger grants due to distance, quantity of students and other variables to be considered. Remember, you can chose to donate to our general fund which will help serve schools throughout Maine or you can donate a portion of your donation to specific school.  Its up to you! Any school in Maine, whether private, ;public, Christian and even home schooler through a non-profit organization is eligible to apply for a grant.  This is especially important to rural schools with minimal infrastructure  by way of population, businesses in making a class trip not only possible but less stressful.  It will create the memories we can remember when we were young.  The experience lasts most of a lifetime.   It can also be applied to chaperone fees if there is a need.  The students will do studying to learn about where they are going and what makes the destination important.  It will sow the seeds of identity by helping to understand just how dynamic Maine was over the last 500 years.   We hope you can help us no matter what the amount as many small donations can move mountains just as well as one or two large donations.  You are important to our successes.
