Protect Our People (POP) was started in response to the dehumanizing legislation brought against transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive Hoosiers. Protect Our People is a community network committed to the advancement of Indiana’s LGBTQIA+ residents of all intersecting identities. Our mission is to provide low-barrier access to mutual aid and resources for the most vulnerable of our People, as well as advocacy to secure a just future for queer and gender-expansive residents of Indiana.   An injunction has been granted against the law banning gender affirming care, but we are just getting started!
