Hinde’s Animal Rescue Team H.A.R.T. is a unique organization dedicated to saving and finding homes for animals in shelters, many of whom have been abandoned, abused, orphaned or handicapped. We are a Non-Profit organization specializing in finding temporary and permanent homes for the unwanted, abandoned, and abused pets. We partner with multiple shelters and low-income rural communities to save the lives of animals in need.  Dear Friends of HART,As many of you may now know, our quarantine has been lifted and we are back to helping dogs find loving families! While that is great news, this message has a larger purpose. About a month ago, we attended a south jersey event with adoptable puppies with the purpose of finding their forever home. Fortunately, these puppies found families to spend their years with!  Sadly though, 3 of these dogs were diagnosed with parvo, which is a very serious and debilitating infection for dogs, ESPECIALLY puppies. Sadly, one family lost their pup after attempting to have us help, which we did. While investigations & quarantines had been going on we were forced to freeze assets and were unable to contact the families.  Another family almost had a pup suffer the same ultimate demise. They only had the puppy for a week when the parvo symptoms started to kick in.  After a lengthy hospital stay, we are elated to report the puppy survived and is doing well. With that said, we want to do right by BOTH of these families. The adoption fees, toys, food, crates, and costly hospitals fees are something we would like to fundraise for to reimburse these families IN FULL! We know this is the right thing to do as the puppies were set to be part of loving families for years to come. Even in trying times, we asked ourselves what we can do for them, Our goal here is to raise 10,000 dollars to fully cover the expenses.
