With more than 50 students, Knights Robotics is a friendly community of talented individuals seeking future careers in a STEM field. FRC (First Robotics Competition) is an annual challenge with almost 4,000 teams worldwide, where teams build an industrial-size robot with limited time and resources to compete against other teams in a difficult field game. Our organization competes with a strong motivation to strive for excellence, even making it to the FRC World Championship in previous seasons. We lack the funds to be a competitive team among veteran teams with decades of experience, upwards of $150K budgets, and sponsorships with organizations like NASA. All of our accomplishments last year were through hours of hard work and dedication to compensate for our meager budget. These experiences, despite our small budget, taught us invaluable technical skills and soft skills not shown in the classroom. With your company's support, you can further enhance the learning experience of our members, which will help grow STEM in our community. Other than just robotics, we also have to focus on business aspects and social media for grants and awards. We run camps for younger students throughout the Frisco area, inspiring others about STEM. As our competition season begins in early January, we would like to ask your company to help support our growing team and help us not only reach new heights but also provide a learning experience to several students that goes beyond the classroom and provides a taste of the real world.
