You can make this event happen!  And this event has grown every year...since 2013....to "keep us afloat."  Dearing House depends on community support to offer forensic interviews, specialized counseling, victim advocacy, and family services to victims of child abuse.  Our vision is to end the effects of abuse suffered by every child who comes through our doors by coordinating with all the agencies responding to child victims to assure that the child's voice is heard and the child is on the road to healing. State and federal grants cover about 65% of our expenses, so your help as an individual or business makes up the difference so that Dearing House is always available 24/7, 365 days a year...whenever needed. Your gift of $200 as an EVENT SPONSOR makes the event possible.  Our goal is to raise $20,000 (we are kinda obsessed with 20 since it's our 20th anniversary) that will make up the difference in cuts to our state funding, and allow us to exceed all national standards required for child advocacy centers to provide consistent, evidence-based programs that help abused children heal.   Your generosity allows us to feed kids free at the event, in keeping with our goal to offer families a fun evening!  We will proudly display your name at the event, and provide you with two tasting kits.
