The Middle Creek Community Development Club operates a local food pantry for the Middle Creek area of Floyd County KY. With the help of God's Pantry Feeding America Program and funding from caring people like you, we are able to: - Provide monthly nutritious foods to families less fortunate. - Provide emergency food baskets for those families that have found themselves in a difficult situation. - Provide other household and personal care items to those in need.  The food pantry serves on average 30+ homes a month in just our small community alone, and numerous individuals from ages that range from infants to the elderly.  We also participate in annual holiday events, such as Thanksgiving and Christmas projects, to see that everyone is our community is taken care of.  We truly believe in the moto "Neighbor helping Neighbor", so much so that the pantry's own members are 100% volunteer and along with donating time, they also pull together to see that all the needs are met- including monthly operating costs and utilities, maintenance and upkeep along with food purchases.
