Greetings friends and colleagues, it is my pleasure to write to you as we celebrate 46 years of SOUTHEAST ALABAMA DANCE COMPANY! It is truly amazing that we are celebrating the arrival of “A Red Carpet Season”!! What an honor it is for this organization to be a cultural icon for our community. As we move into the 2024-25 season, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to our board members, subscribers, and sponsors for their hard work and support. Also, thank you to the dancers who use their talents to make our shows such a success. We are grateful to receive funding from our friends at Alabama State Council on the Arts, Visit Dothan, and The Daniel Foundation of Alabama. Reflecting on the work of the last 46 years, we have grown leaps with the addition of seven part-time employees and a new storage warehouse.Our season includes a timeless holiday classic, The Nutcracker, along with an exciting Spring show. We are proud to offer two dedicated school performances for students for both productions. SEADAC also provides world renowned guest instructors, choreographers and guest artists. Student scholarship opportunities are also available through SEADAC. SEADAC is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that serves as a training ground for dancers and choreographers interested in pursuing a professional career or a dancer interested in earning a degree in dance, physical therapy, or arts administration. SEADAC provides the company dancers with the educational tools to develop themselves in all styles of dance by exposing them to world-renowned teachers and choreographers. Southeast Alabama Dance Company’s board of directors works diligently to provide rich dance opportunities for our community. If you are a previous subscriber, we want to thank you for your past support. We encourage you to fill out the commitment form included in this brochure and return it to the SEADAC office by September 1. Your tax-deductible donation helps ensure the fiscal stability that sustains the artistic, educational, and outreach activities of SEADAC. We have donor levels to fit every budget and lifestyle. With you help, we can continue our tradition of providing rich artistry, training, and high-quality performances.
