She would often ask her parents thoughtful, heartfelt questions, trying to understand why people didn&rsquo;t have a home and wondering what could be done to help. Her compassion has never been about feeling sorry for others,&nbsp;it has always been about wanting to make a difference.Over the years, Annelise has put that compassion into action by serving in ministries at her church that focus on caring for people experiencing homelessness.
