With that donation, you’re helping us to fulfill our mission to support and empower people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and expressions to strengthen and unite our central coast community. As we continue to see opposition around the country to our human rights and very existence, your support in helping us to continue this work is more necessary than ever. Here are some of the ways your donation supports our mission:  Gala Pride and Diversity Center hosts several adult support groups monthly, including therapist led groups for trans folks, senior advocacy groups, parent support, LGBTQIA+ Alcoholics Anonymous, and more.  We host many social groups monthly, including a book club, movie viewings, rainbow dungeons and dragons, polyamory potlucks, lesbian hangouts, and more.  The Center provides vital safe spaces for youth to gather, for both “Q Youth” meetings and a trans teen support group.  In addition to these monthly services, the Gala Pride and Diversity Center offers SOGIE (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity & Expression) training to several local school and public service organizations within the county. This provides a vital service to those who interact with youth and have the potential to impact the way in which our young people experience the world.  We truly appreciate you, and hope you know that your generosity is not underestimated.  From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!
