Mizmaar&#39;s application for federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status is currently pending with the IRS; once granted, the exemption will apply retroactively to the organization&#39;s date of incorporation, and contributions will be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. For over 1,400 years, the Qur&#39;an has passed from teacher to student, heart to heart, unbroken.
