MISSION:

Smyrna Elementary School Foundation is an independent, non-profit 501(c)3 whose mission is to provide resources beyond what is provided by CCSD and PTA to support and enhance a quality educational experience for our children at Smyrna Elementary. We strive to have our funds impact as many SES students as possible and maintain past campaigns.

In 2024-25 we:

- Awarded $20,000 in teacher/classoom mini-grants

- Purchased groundbreaking LU Educational and Interactive Indoor Playground

- Provided Educational Enhancement Programming such as the iReady software and Scaly Adventures for all students

- Fullfilled sensory room needs for Special Needs students as well as Wellness areas for all students

- Maintained "Sarah's Path" outdoor classroom

- Funded monthly incentives for positive student behavior reward system

- Paid off student lunch debt
