As most of you know, my wife Teri lost her fight against pancreatic cancer on August 6th of 2022. After that loss, as well as the loss of other family members and friends to cancer, I felt that the fight needed to continue. For the inaugural year of Dye It Purple 4PC, with the help and donations from others, we were able to raise $5,550.00 in her honor. In order to raise awareness for pancreatic cancer and honor Teri, I will again pledge to dye my beard PURPLE! I personally lead off the donations last year with a $100.00 dollar donation. I would love to triple what we were able to raise the first year so for this 2nd Annual “DYE IT PURPLE” I am leading it off with a $300.00 donation.  I am also hopeful that others will join me in dying their beards, or their hair, or just do a purple streak, or whatever the hell you want to do to raise the awareness and support the cause! During Teri’s battle, all of the love, prayers and support that she received meant the world to her. So please, help me continue that fight not just in her honor, but in honor of all of those lost to cancer, pancreatic or otherwise! All proceeds will be donated to the charity that meant most to Teri—St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. The check will be written on May 4th, which would have been Teri's 64th birthday. So join me and “DYE IT PURPLE” anywhere between the middle of March and the middle of April and keep that color goin’ until May 4th. After that, obviously beards can be shaved off if that's what you want to do but I'm pretty sure anyone joining me will rock that PURPLE to the end!  Anyone dying their hair along with me please send an email to <a href="mailto:Dyeitpurple4pc@gmail.com">Dyeitpurple4pc@gmail.com</a> and I will make sure that you receive purple ribbons and "business like" cards with the donation link to pass on to prospective donors and spread awareness.
