2026 has given us a lot to celebrate. As America marks its 250th anniversary, the Naugatuck Historical Society has spent the year doing what we love most. We have welcomed visitors into the museum, shared stories from Naugatuck&rsquo;s past, hosted programs and events, and brought people together to celebrate the history of the community we call home. Our America 250 celebration has been particularly meaningful. While we have spent the year looking back at the people and events that helped shape our nation and our community, we have also been creating memories of our own. Someday, 2026 will be part of Naugatuck&rsquo;s history too, and we are proud of what our community has made of it. Behind everything we do is a group of volunteers who simply care about Naugatuck. Our museum is run by people who give their time because they believe local history matters and that sharing it adds something meaningful to the community around us. When you support our Annual Fund, that support comes right back to Naugatuck. It helps us care for the pieces of our past entrusted to us, welcome people into the museum, offer programs and events, create new exhibits, and continue finding ways to make our history something the community can experience and enjoy.
