The time has come to prepare for Starr Elementary&rsquo;s Annual Jog-A-Thon&mdash;a much-anticipated tradition that brings together students, families, staff, and the broader community. At Starr, the Jog-A-Thon is more than just a fundraiser&mdash;it&rsquo;s a cherished community celebration. This year&rsquo;s event, the Heroes Jog-A-Thon, will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and will begin with a special ceremony honoring local veterans, service members, and first responders for their bravery and sacrifice.&nbsp; Students are encouraged to invite the heroes in their own lives to join us for this powerful morning of celebration, gratitude, and unity. We are currently seeking local businesses to help sponsor this meaningful event. Your sponsorship will directly support student enrichment programs, field trips, classroom supplies, and more&mdash;while also showcasing your support of public education and local heroes.
