Twenty-five years ago, on September 11, 2001, our nation was changed forever. For the men and women of the construction trades, that day carries an especially personal meaning. When New York and our country needed us most, the trades answered the call. Union brothers and sisters stood side by side with first responders, rescue workers, and volunteers throughout the rescue and recovery effort. Together, we shared the loss, the sacrifice, and the responsibility to never forget. Twenty-five years later, we are asking everyone, this time in remembrance. The NYC 9/11 Memorial Field, established in October 2005, is now a program of the Museum of Urban Arts (MOUA), a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization committed to preserving and presenting this memorial for future generations. From September 10 through September 13, 2026, the northern tip of Manhattan at Inwood Hill Park will become a field of remembrance as&nbsp;3,000 American flags are placed on display in tribute to those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and in honor of the families, first responders, construction trades, rescue and recovery workers, and countless others forever affected by that day. We respectfully invite you to become a sponsor or make a donation of this historic 25th Anniversary Commemoration. Your sponsorship will directly support the installation and operation of the Memorial Field, including the 3,000 flags, flag supports and materials, site preparation, security, and other essential event expenses required to bring this tribute to life.This is more than an event.
