Donations fund unrestricted expenses of the House Corporation, such as Homecoming activities. By contrast, donations made to Knox College for the benefit of the Sigma Nu chapter are only allowed to be spent on house maintenance. Contributing to the House Corporation allows for greater flexibility in supporting the Chapter.
