The North Pole High School softball team program is an outsourced school activity. Our coaching staff volunteers without pay, and the program receives no financial support from either the school or the school district. We keep player fees as low as possible so that participation isn't out of reach; however, that means we rely on community support and a lot of fundraising to cover costs. Your financial support will help power the team through the 2024 season in many ways!
Help the Lady Patriots travel to tournaments! Though the season is 3 months long, the local softball fields are typically only usable for the last month of the season because it takes so long for the snow to melt and the fields to dry. Your donation can help send the Lady Patriots to tournaments in warmer climates around the state. This season, the team will test its mettle in tournaments in Kodiak, Sitka, and the Valley. Travel, lodging, team meals, dugout snacks/drinks, tournament fees, and a myriad of related costs are expensive, but these early season playing opportunities are critical as we keep our eyes on the ultimate goal: the state tournament! Invest in our future by helping purchase needed gear of all kinds! After years of borrowing training equipment, we find ourselves in desperate need of team training gear, including nets, tees, weighted bat jackets, balls, agility ladders, and much more. In addition, we need to purchase the warm-up gear that gets issued to new players each season and replace uniform items that are unserviceable after years of use. Transform futures by contributing directly to your favorite player's team and travel fees! We try to hold a few fundraisers each season that allow players to earn money toward their individual fees. We also encourage all players to visit local businesses and request sponsorships. If you have a favorite player, you can dedicate your donation to helping cover their fees!
