All donations will be utilized towards helping local families of Anna, TX in need with rent, utilities, & groceries, or any other need determined in certain circumstances. Currently, we have one family with young children facing eviction, & another family with young children on the cusp of repercussions due to being short on rent. There are hardly any local rental assistance programs available anymore, & the few that are left state-wide are out of funds, don't cover our area, or both. Many families applying for state assistance such as Medicaid or SNAP benefits are denied due to the out of date income caps, & lack of personalization, not taking the time to fully review a family's in-depth, specific situation with the increased cost of living & prices of goods. Aside from that, it takes months, several months, to even get their case reviewed, & then some more months to receive an approval or denial of benefits. There are too many struggling, & not enough resources. & these families can't wait months to eat, or secure a rood over their heads. We are on a mission to help our own.
