Central Carolina Black Nurses Council, Inc.&nbsp;(CCBNC, Inc.), an affiliate chapter of the National Black Nurses Association, Inc. (NBNA), was founded in 1982. The mission of the CCBNC is to provide a forum for nurses to decrease healthcare disparities of African Americans and the underserved communities through advocacy, education, and health promotion. CCBNC has greatly impacted the Triangle community over the decades by supporting, participating in, and organizing numerous community health endeavors and educational opportunities. &nbsp;One of our proudest accomplishments has been our Annual Educational-Lecture Luncheon, where we award deserving local nursing student scholarships that will aid in furthering their education. In addition to presenting scholarships, we have presentations on health-related topics.&nbsp; This year the 34th Educational-Lecture Luncheon&nbsp;will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education in Chapel Hill, NC.&nbsp; At Central Carolina Black Nurses Council, Inc., we know that change starts with people like you.
