Donate to make a difference

The relationship between fire departments and their respective communities is a critical alliance. Without the generous support of citizens, businesses, and civic groups in the Molalla community, the Molalla Volunteer Firefighters Association would not be able to provide the quality of service the community has grown to expect in the last almost 100 years.

Molalla Fire Department is 96% volunteer based. Volunteer firefighters and EMT’s must be properly trained, certified, and equipped. To ensure these men and women are fully prepared to serve their communities, grants and financial support from the community are used for the vast majority of operating expenses, including:

  • Purchasing fire and medical apparatus and equipment
  • Cost of supplying 1 volunteer firefighter’s full gear is over $5,600 (as of 2024)
  • Supporting public safety initiatives – Annual Open House, National Night Out, Fire Prevention Week for the schools
  • Providing emergency medical services to community events – First Aid booth at the annual Molalla Buckeroo
  • Giving back to the community – Operation Santa annual canned food drive benefiting local food banks, and the ODF annual auction benefiting the Molalla Service Center

By supporting the Molalla Volunteer Firefighters Association, you will be doing your part to provide emergency and non-emergency services that protect the lives and property of your neighbors in Molalla and the citizens of Clackamas County.
