A colorful logo featuring a stylized duck and the text "CELEBRANDO 40 AÑOS ACFA" is set against a plain white background.

40 Years of Art. A Lifetime of Possibility. For 40 years, ACFA has been more than a place to make art. It has been a place to find your voice, celebrate your roots, discover your potential, and feel that you belong. Since 1986, the Alisal Center for the Fine Arts has been part of the cultural fabric of Salinas and Monterey County. Through music, dance, theater, and community-centered arts education, ACFA has created opportunities for people to connect with their heritage, explore their creativity, and grow together. Think of a young person picking up a guitar for the first time. A dancer learning the traditions carried through generations. A family sharing stories on stage. A student discovering a talent they never knew they had. These moments may begin with a song, a dance step, or a first performance. But what grows from them can last a lifetime: confidence, connection, cultural pride, friendships, and the courage to imagine what is possible. That is the power of the arts. And that is the legacy we are celebrating. Four decades behind us. The next generation ahead of us. ACFA's 40th anniversary is more than a milestone. It is an opportunity to honor the artists, students, families, teaching artists, volunteers, donors, and community members who have helped make this center what it is today. But we are not looking back just to celebrate how far we have come. We are looking ahead. We want the next generation to have the same opportunity to discover their creativity, connect with their culture, develop their talents, and experience the joy of making something meaningful with others. To make that future possible, ACFA needs a community that believes in the value of the arts and is willing to invest in them. Help us secure the next 40 years. Your contribution helps sustain the programs, teaching, creative experiences, and welcoming community that make ACFA special. Every gift is an investment in keeping artistic expression alive, creating opportunities for young people and families, and strengthening the cultural life of Monterey County. You do not have to be an artist to believe in the arts. You do not have to have grown up at ACFA to help it thrive. And you do not have to make a large donation to make a meaningful difference. You simply have to believe that creativity matters. That culture deserves to be celebrated. That young people deserve opportunities to discover who they can become. And that our community is stronger when everyone has a place to belong. Forty years ago, a legacy took root. Today, we have the opportunity to help it grow. Join us in celebrating 40 years of ACFA. Make a gift, share our campaign, or invite someone else to be part of this next chapter. Let's ensure that 40 years from now, another generation will be able to say that ACFA helped them find their voice, celebrate their roots, and imagine a bigger future. Our roots run deep. Our future is full of possibility. Thank you for being part of the next 40 years. With gratitude,The Alisal Center for the Fine Arts
