The West Earl Fire Company is a 100% volunteer emergency services organization serving the West Earl community and beyond. Maintaining our equipment, both vehicles and protective equipment, is our top priority, allowing our dedicated team to respond quickly and safely to any and all dispatched emergencies. Additionally, we make every effort to keep our volunteers motivated to keep responding through a variety of training, personal development, and social opportunities. All of this together comes at a significant expense, but it is all very necessary to be the effective community resource we have become since our organization almost 100 years ago. It is often said, that you don't realize the value a volunteer fire department provides until you experience it for yourself, so while we hope you never have to call for us, we hope that you can rest easy knowing that we are prepared and ready to help you 24/7/365. You may also see that we aggressively fundraise throughout the year with events like our breakfasts and auctions. These functions have become critical to our organization, both as a social time/community outreach, and also to our budget as expenses increase every year, but only contribute to 15% of our operating budget. This shows how important each community donation is, so please consider committing to a regular contribution to help support the fire service in your community. Of course, we are always looking for volunteers, so feel free to out to help beyond financial support if you feel so called!
