This donation will go towards tent and stewardship classes to be held at the first annual Harrison County Honey Festival, located in Bridgeport, WV, September 14, and 15 2024.   A 20 x40 tent will house 10 different classes over a 2-day period to help educate the community on pollinator awareness, chemical free gardening, beekeeping, beekeeping concerns such as disease, honey production, and more.   We focus on bringing a sustainable honey industry to repressed areas of West Virginia by educating young and old alike.   We ultimately aim to change intimidation into appreciation for our endangered pollinator friends.   Each class will host approx 50 students.   The event will also feature honey vendors from all over the state of West Virginia, as well as the USDA, WVDA, and more non profits as well.  Any additional funds will go towards educational purposes through out the community, hives for heroes mentoring for the 2024 year.
