Established in 2008, the Vietnamese American Uniformed Services Association (VAUSA) band of brothers and sisters has come together to preserve the legacy of our ancestors’ courage and devotion through public service. Our mission is to foster an environment for our members to reach their fullest potential while supporting their families and sharing our experiences with the community across the country.

We serve in Eight United States Uniformed Services branches as Soldiers, Marines, Sailors, Airmen, Coast Guardsman, Guardians, Scientists, Engineers, Doctors, Pharmacists, Nurses, and other professionals, who are serving day and night to defend freedom and our way of life.

As a 501(c)(19) non-profit, nonpartisan organization, Vietnamese American Uniformed Services Association relies entirely on the generosity of our supporters, which include individuals, civic groups, corporations, and foundations. These supporters are critical to advancing VAUSA’s mission of preserving the legacy of our ancestor’s devotion and promote professional development of our present, future members and their families.

Vietnamese American Uniformed Services Association (VAUSA) has:

- Offered more than 30,000 hours of mentorship to our 1,300 members who work or reside worldwide.

- Awarded over $143,000 under the Fallen Heroes Scholarship Program to undergraduate students nationwide.

- Sent 2,500 care packages under Operation Taste from Home to deployed service members. 

- Provided over 45,000 hours of community service to various communities in the United States.

-  Executed various leadership and community activities serving our veterans such as Annual Gala, Wreath Across America, Flags For Our Heroes, Leadership Summit, Mentoring and Tutoring to Veterans and their families, and many more.
