In May 2010 Jamie Black a Metis artist wanted to create awareness, around the many Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG) in Canada. May 5^th is now known as ‘Red Dress Day’, Jamie Black’s Red Dress Project.

Things one can do:

Wear a red DRESS to walk or run in
Wear a red hand mark on Face, over mouth
Hang a Red Dress in your window, on a tree outside or cloths line
