In partnership with the Young Adult Ministries of Wesley Temple A.M.E. Zion Church, we are proud to host our&nbsp;5th Annual Backpack Giveaway on Saturday, August 1, 2026 from 12PM-3PM. Over the past five years, this event has provided hundreds of students with backpacks, school supplies, clothing, food, and community resources to help them begin the school year prepared and confident. This year, our goal is to serve&nbsp;200 or more students and families, making this our largest giveaway yet. Every donation helps provide backpacks filled with essential school supplies, free meals, and additional resources for local children. For many families, the rising cost of back-to-school shopping creates financial strain, and this event helps ease that burden while reminding families that their community cares. Your support directly impacts children in our community by helping ensure they have the tools they need to learn, grow, and succeed.
