Yet here we are—anxiously preparing for our 5th Annual TC Metro & Suburban Mah Jongg Club Fundraiser, aiming for our fourth consecutive year of raising $3,000. It truly seems to be our lucky number. This special event is more than a day of passing tiles, making exposures and calling 'Mahj'. It's about camaraderie. A feeling of trust and close friendship amongst people who share a common goal, fundraising. Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to sponsor Shoreview Community Center’s Dementia Caregiver Support Group with Respite Care, a vital program of Alzheimer’s Speaks, the Minnesota‑based advocacy organization known worldwide for shifting our dementia care culture from crisis to comfort. Why Your Support MattersEvery donation—large or small—directly strengthens caregiver resources through respite opportunities, and other resources. Together, we can turn tiles into triumphs and ensure that our community’s support shines brighter than ever in supporting our dementia life enrichment caregivers. Our Fundraising Impact 2022-2025: $10,5732022- $1040 2023-$3180.21 2024-3165.79 2025-$3187
