Founded in 1905, the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History celebrates its 119th Birthday on August 21st! Hands-on natural science experiences both on site at the museum and off site at local parks and nature preserves inspires students to learn about the unique ecosystems in their own communities. The museum also has several ways to engage as a volunteer. In 2023-24, our community volunteers provided 8,136 hours of service!
