Anderson Archery is a youth scholastic 3D archery (S3DA) club, USA Adult and Junior Olympic Archery Development club, and a club with The Shoot Out Series (TSO) that introduces youth and adults to archery, while enhancing their archery and conservation skills. Anderson Archery fosters, educates and guides youth and adults in the areas of indoor target, 3D and outdoor target archery as well as safe, ethical bowhunting practices. We provide archery and bow hunting opportunities for adults and youth, as well as with archery-affiliated clubs and businesses in the community. Anderson Archery expects to provide a basic understanding and respect for our natural resources, environment, and nature, with a special emphasis on modern wildlife conservation and regulated sport hunting. We are a “next step” archery program that provides a natural progression through the sport from elementary to college ages. In Fall 2024, Anderson Archery will host The Academy by Anderson Archery. An archery academy program that introduces and develops archery skills in youth in Kentucky.
Anderson Archery has been assisting youth in enhancing their archery skills for over 10 years in Anderson County. In July 2021, we were awarded our 501(3)c non-profit status and were able to become a community archery and conservation organization. This new classification allowed us the privilege to welcome youth and adults from all over Kentucky to become a member of our Club. In 2024, Anderson Archery, Inc. became a participating club with USA Archery as a Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) and Adult club. We currently have 30 youth members from ages 7 to 16 years of age and 4 adult members, developing and enhancing their skills with a recurve bow, Olympic recurve bow, and/or compound bow. The club members participate in multiple archery tournaments from November to July through the S3DA, USA Archery, American Shooters Association (ASA), National Field Archery Association (NFAA), and The Shoot Out Series organizations(TSA) (our coaches and a few parents have even put together a small team to have a little fun with the kiddos outside of coaching). This year Anderson Archery, Inc. is being offered the opportunity to host an indoor archery tournament for the National Scholarship Tour, The Shoot Out Series and S3DA organizations. In September 2024, Anderson Archery was provided the opportunity to develop an archery range of their own, allowing us to grow the services we are offering the community.
With the growth of our club (doubling in size over the last 2 years!), we are looking to expand our supporters as well! In return for your sponsorship and support, we are offering multiple levels of advertising opportunities throughout the 2024-2025 archery season. We are so grateful for what our sponsors, just like you, have helped us accomplish over the years. From funding an opportunity for youth and adults to have an outlet to grow their skills, to providing shooter shirts, to providing building materials to create stands for our indoor archery targets, meeting bow maintenance needs, and so much more. We are immensely grateful to our past, present and future sponsors.
