The Clear Water Zen Meditation Group, aka "Clear Water Zen Center," is an authentic Zen Buddhist practice center. We are a lay group of Zen Buddhist practitioners who meet at scheduled times every week for meditation, chanting, dharma talks, and discussion. 

All donations go solely for operating expenses. No salaries or wages are paid to anyone.

An old teaching observes that when a glowing coal is set out on the ground alone, it slowly goes out, but when several glowing coals are arranged together, they burst into flame. As a Zen community, we feel that way about our mutual practice and support each other. The Center is, of course, the focal point for our group, and we invite you to join us as a member.

Certainly, ensuring the financial sustainability of the Zen Center is vital, which is why we encourage members to pledge a minimum monthly contribution of $30.00. Some members choose to make an annual payment of $360 in one installment. Additionally, some members generously contribute more than these amounts.

However, please know that your presence and participation in our meditation sessions are valued regardless of your financial situation. If you are unable to afford the suggested dues, you are still warmly welcome to join us. In such cases, a minimum donation of $5 per visit is suggested, but please rest assured that your presence is always appreciated, whether or not you are able to contribute financially.

We also want to express our deep appreciation for all the work and effort that members put into keeping the Zen Center clean and running smoothly. Your contributions, both financially and through your efforts to maintain our space, are invaluable to our Sangha.

This platform, Zeffy, takes care of all fees and charges, which is very unique.
