On Sept 27, 2024, Helene cause unprecedented flooding and wind damage that ravaged communities across Western North Carolina. Among the damage was many of our beloved disc golf courses in city/county parks. Multiple trees and debris fell, leaving baskets and teepads destroyed or damaged, and the courses unplayable. It will take months to repair the courses back to safe and playable condition.  We need your help raising funds to replace baskets, fix teepads, and work with the city/county to cut and remove trees, limbs, and debris before we, or you, can enjoy our courses again. In partnership with Benefit Discs, 100% of the funds will go to the WNCDGA, who will coordinate with the city/county to puts funds to work repairing and rebuilding our courses.
