THE MAHTOMEDI ELEMENTARY PTO NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT!<hr /> Please donate to the Mahtomedi PTO 2024 Fun Run!   This beginning of the year tradition, was started as an alternative to families being asked to sell wreaths, pizza, and wrapping paper. Help us continue the tradition and support our children and schools by donating to this fun, exciting and much loved event!  Each tax deductible dollar donated goes directly to funding our programs at Wildwood and O.H. Anderson schools.    This year's Fun Run dates are: September 20 (Wildwood Elementary) and September 27 (O.H. Anderson). Every dollar you donate goes towards helping us achieve our mission of: - Promoting a sense of community amongst the Family and Staff of our incredible Elementary Schools- Providing additional enrichment programs to our Students (Card Sharks, Strategy Games, Art Adventure, and more!)- Conducting fundraising events for specific operational and/or capital needs identified in partnership with School Administrators $20 per student would help us reach our school goals!  Ensuring we would be able to continue doing the following: Supporting our students, schools and staff:- Classroom supplies for each full time Teacher (up to $175.00 per school year) - Allowances for our Gym, Art, Music, Media and STEM classrooms- Allowances for Special Education Teachers, Counselors, School Psychologists, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapy and Math      and Reading Specialists- Field trip funding of up to $2,000 per grade- $750 per grade for Nature Trail Day at OHA- $3,000 for music concerts at Wildwood- $1,000 for Field Day- $800 for Assessment Books- and additional funded requests by Teachers and Staff for furniture, games, wobble stools and more!  Free programs offered by Mahtomedi Elementary PTO:Card Sharks and Strategy GamesFamily Movie NightsPopsicles in the Park (New for this year!)Trunk or Treat (New for this year!)Hospitality events for our teachersVolunteer appreciation breakfast (New for this year!)
