This donation, along with the grants we've already received will be put towards the purchase and stewardship fund for the 40 acre old growth forest with 4000 feet of shoreline on Highland Lake in Stoddard NH.  

We are calling this property "The Little Big Forest" because it is little in the number of acres, but it is big in the impact it will have on two bodies of water, Highland Lake and Island Pond, and on the Stoddard community as a whole. Plans include creating an ADA accessible experience trail for all, including those with limited mobility issues, and also use of the cabin by the James Faulkner Elementary School in order to expand their already well known outdoor education program.
