The Ballard Performing Arts Booster Club helps to raise funds to support the students and directors of all performing arts programs. The annual fee goes to the Associated Student Body (ASB) fund. The Music Department annual fee covers the cost of our operating expenses—sheet music, festival fees, transportation, t-shirts, instrument repair, and uniform cleaning and maintenance. ASB funds cannot be spent to pay for coaches, clinicians or guest instructors. These items, along with student scholarships, are the bulk of the BHS Performing Arts Booster Club budget. Funds for this budget come from our fundraising events, matching funds, sponsorship, merchandise sales, and passive fundraising.
The Booster Club also sponsors fundraising events for students to help raise money for their student accounts.
