John was a life-professed Lay Dominican and generously gave his time and talent to help start and grow the Oklahoma City Lay Dominican Chapter. He also was a supporter of Sr. Maria's mission at the Gospel of Life Disciples (GOLD) in Moore, OK. Your contribution will be split evenly between these two organizations. Your funds will help the OKC chapter of Lay Dominicans carry on its evangelization mission in John's memory and in the spirit of St. Dominic. We will accomplish this through publications that outline the Church's teachings on topics from family life to doctrine. We also provide the liturgical tools and the practical training so lay people can develop a closer relationship with God in daily prayer, and in turn, become agents of evangelization and change in their respective workplaces and communities. The Gospel of Life Disciples (GOLD) is a family of consecrated and lay persons committed to Jesus as our Way, Truth, and Life. We seek holiness in daily life and strive to live the Gospel, according to the spirit of St. Francis, in a spirituality of communion. We live the corporal and spiritual works of mercy by accompanying frail elders with life-affirming care, free of charge for the glory of God and the salvation of souls.  All Gospel of Life Dwellings are under the patronage of Our Lady of Guadalupe and St. John Paul II. The Gospel of Life Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
