Jessi & Keith Markham

Jessi Markham's husband Keith was diagnosed with lung cancer several months ago, and his treatment so far has been unsuccessful.
Many of you know and love Jessi from her tireless work at Lighthouse Christian School. She has dedicated many years of her life to the staff and students, always greeting everyone by name with a smile on her face. Now it's our turn to help out her family in their time of need. Prayers are appreciated, and monetary donations will be collected as a means to assist the Markham family with easing the financial burdens they now face.

Gig Harbor — Keith Raymond Markham, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away peacefully on June 11, 2022 at the age of 60, after an eight month battle with cancer.
Keith was born on October 3, 1961 in Osage, Iowa to Glenn and Shirley (Duenow) Markham as the youngest of 9 children. He married his high school sweetheart Jessica Roemig on May 21, 1983. They enjoyed a loving, joyfilled marriage of 39 years and were blessed with four wonderful children and three beautiful grandchildren.
Keith became a salesman for a printing business where he touched the lives of many. In 1999, the family moved to Gig Harbor, WA. Keith continued to work in the printing industry, traveling across the West Coast region for 20+ years. He later became a commercial truck driver which allowed him to continue his love of travel and form many more meaningful friendships.
Growing up in the Midwest, Keith developed a love for nature, family and good food. He also had a passion for music, which he enjoyed discussing with friends and sharing with his children. Keith loved his family deeply, enjoyed sharing laughs with friends, and could make friends with just about anyone. He was known for his keen sense of humor, kindness toward others and his infectious belly laugh.
Keith is survived by his wife, Jessica Markham, his four children, Joseph (Cassie) Markham, Ryan (Kayla) Markham, Samantha Markham and Jenna Markham, three grandchildren, Dylan, Noah and Cooper, his siblings, Janice (John) Dempsey, Joan Blake, Patricia (Roger) Karau, Ronald (Kristine) Markham, Richard (Marjorie) Markham and Robert (Kath-
leen) Markham and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding him in death are his parents Glenn and Shirley (Duenow) Markham, and siblings William (Elaine) Markham and Barbara Markham.
Keith’s memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Chapel Hill Church in Gig Harbor. This service will be livestreamed for those who cannot attend. We are also planning a Celebration of Life in his hometown, Osage, IA, during the first weekend of October.
