As the holiday season approaches, we are excited to announce our upcoming fundraising campaign to help children in our local community. We are proud to present two events this year that will bring joy and happiness to children and their families during the holiday season. The first event, Lunch with Santa, will occur on December 7th, 2023, at Texas Roadhouse in Charleston, WV. During this event, children and their guardians will enjoy a complimentary meal, take a picture with Santa, and participate in fun activities like learning how to make bread. Each child will also receive a toy worth $25, a filled stocking, cozy pajamas, and a blanket to take home, while the whole family will receive a Christmas book and take home their bread. Depending on funding, additional items may also be provided. This event is exclusively for families with children under five years old who have a WV Medicaid or CHIPS gold card or participate in the WV WIC program. The second event, Breakfast with Santa, will occur on December 15th, 2023, at Chili's Restaurant by Huntington Mall. During this event, children will have the opportunity to meet Santa, enjoy a delicious breakfast meal, participate in fun games, and receive exciting door prizes. At the end of the event, each child will receive a toy worth $25, a filled stocking, and pajamas, while their family will receive a Christmas book, an ornament decoration kit, a recipe in a bag (which contains food), and a cozy blanket. Please note that this unique offer is available for families with children under five years old who receive a WV Medicaid or CHIPS gold card or participate in the WV WIC program. Your donation will ensure we can provide the necessary resources to make these events successful and bring joy and happiness to children and their families during the holiday season. All donations will be evenly shared between the two events, and we hope to assist more children this year than in years past.
