Dear Pathfinder Club Sponsors,  As we gear up for an exciting summer, we are thrilled to announce our upcoming Bike-a-Thon Fundraiser to support our Pathfinder Club's participation in the International Pathfinder Camporee in Gillette, Wyoming on August 5-11, 2024. The money raised will help cover travel expenses, registration fees, food, and other essential costs. Event Details:  Date: Sunday, March 24, 2024 Time: 10:00am - 2:00pm Location: Victorville SDA Church parking lot (16070 Lorene Dr. Victorville, CA)  Ride or Stride for a Cause: Our Bike-a-Thon is not just for bikers! Whether you're on two wheels, walking, jogging, riding scooters, or skateboarding, you can participate. Please note that ALL RIDERS MUST WEAR A HELMET.  Here's how it works: 1. Riders Ages 9-12: Aim for 30 laps (approximately 3 miles) around our designated track, which is approximately 0.1 miles per lap.  2. Riders Ages 13-15: Strive for 40 laps (approximately 4 miles) to show your support.  3. Riders Ages 16 and above: Challenge yourself to 50 laps (approximately 5 miles).  Separate Lane for Walkers: For those without bicycles, we've got you covered! Walkers will have their own separate lane, which is approximately .05 miles per lap.  Here are the walking goals: 1. Walkers Ages 9-12: Target 40 laps, approximately 2 miles.  2. Walkers Ages 13-15: Go for 50  laps, approximately 2.5  miles.   3. Walkers Ages 16 and above: Stride confidently toward 60 laps, approximately 3 miles.  How You Can Help: We encourage all parents and sponsors to join us on the sidelines! Come cheer on our participants, enjoy the camaraderie, and contribute to our fundraising efforts.  Here's how you can support us:  1. Sponsor a Pathfinder: Consider sponsoring one of our enthusiastic Pathfinders by pledging an amount per lap or providing a flat donation. Every contribution counts!  2. Spread the Word: Share this event with friends, family, and colleagues. Encourage them to support our cause by donating any amount.  3. Purchase Goodies: Visit our food, drinks, and snacks booths. Every purchase directly benefits our club.  4. Game Booths: Try your luck at our game booths? Win small prizes and share in the excitement.  5. Volunteer: We need more hands to help make this event a success!  Gratitude and Dedication: We extend our heartfelt thanks to each parent and sponsor for their unwavering dedication. Your involvement makes a significant impact on our club's success. Together, we'll make this Camporee experience unforgettable for our Pathfinders.  Save the Date: Mark your calendars, invite friends and family, and let's make this Bike-a-Thon a roaring success!  For any inquiries or to volunteer, please send an email to <a href="mailto:vvsdapathfinders@gmail.com">vvsdapathfinders@gmail.com</a>  Thank you for being a part of our Pathfinder family. We invite you to be a part of our journey as we ride (or stride) toward our goals. <div style="width:100%;box-sizing:inherit"><div style="box-sizing:inherit"> </div></div>
