Rallying Support for Karen Schindler Karen Schindler, an inspiring mentor, dedicated youth minister, and dear friend and colleague, is facing a challenging recovery after a terrible car accident on July 19 as she was driving to a family vacation in Bend, Oregon. Karen suffers a broken neck, breastplate, broken ribs, broken pelvis, fractured cheek, and spinal cord injuries. She is currently in the ICU at St.Charles Medical Center in Bend, Oregon.
