She believes in community and collaboration, and works to create accessible, inclusive artistic spaces and opportunities. Select collaborations include Boulanger Initiative, International Contemporary Ensemble, Out of Our Shells, Duo Entre-Nous, Edgewood High School, Natalie Groom, Bryan Young, University of Maine Farmington, District New Music Coalition, Joanna McCoskey Wiltshire, Fear No Music, TURNmusic, TURN UP Multimedia Festival, and Concertia’s Emerging Composer Fellowship. She is currently pursuing a PhD in music composition at Northwestern University.  Maria Beben is a writer, cat mom, and multi-passionate wanderer. Her favorite animal is a brontosaurus and her favorite color is sunset. Maria’s work appeared in the Pennsylvania Bards Anthology and the Avalon Anthology. In 2021 she published her first poetry book, A Trail of Lost Buttons. Find her on Instagram: em_beewriting  Soprano Elizabeth Shuman is happiest when she has a world premiere art song on her music stand— giving voice to words that need to be sung. A Vocal Chamber Music Fellow with the Collaborative Arts Institute of Chicago, she has also appeared with Chicago a cappella, Chicago Symphony Chorus, Chicago Choral Artists, at the Green Mill, and regularly at Liederstube. Find her on Instagram: @shuman.elizabeth.a  With a life-long experience as a collaborative pianist with a variety of musicians and ensembles, Young jee Cho finds great joy in working with others. Through numerous years of being a piano teacher to students of all ages and levels, she has mastered the virtue of patience. Being the pianist for the voice studio of Maria Lagios for a decade, she’s experienced the special beauty in working with human voices. Young jee earned her BM in Piano Performance and MM in Piano Performance and Collaborative Arts from Wheaton College (IL) and Northwestern University, respectively. She is also a lover of books and animals, a workout enthusiast, and most importantly, a mom to two AMAZING kids.
