OBJECTIVES:<ol><li style="box-sizing:inherit">To thoughtfully promote the values of Sikhism; </li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">To provide an inclusive forum for religious expression for the Sikh community;</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">To serve the local, regional and national communities as prescribed in Sikh teachings;</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">To provide educational programs and services that promote and encourages a deep understanding of Sikh teachings;</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">To provide programs that assist children and adults in practically applying Sikh teachings in their everyday lives in the United States;</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">To provide programs that demonstrate how Sikh teachings can be applied as critical success factors in building individual academic and professional careers;</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">To provide opportunities to contribute to our community in the spirit of Seva;</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">To promote Sikh practices through regular services, including Shabad Kirtan, Shabad Katha, teaching of Gurmukhi, religious discourses, symposiums, seminars, etc., and other appropriate activities;</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">To meaningfully enhance the local, regional and national stature and image of Sikhs and to promote their civil rights in the religious, social, cultural, educational, and economic fabric of American society; and</li><li style="box-sizing:inherit">To promote unity within the Sikh community.</li></ol>
