On behalf of Friends of Mt. Abram, we wanted to say thank you and share some insight on the programs we are delivering across the community. Friends of Mt. Abram is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, dedicated to supporting the local community and the continued existence of Skiing, Riding, Biking and other outdoor pursuits at Mt. Abram in Greenwood, ME.  Working in conjunction with generous donors, Ownership, other non-profits, government and private funding sources, we seek to bridge the gaps to ensure the continued use of Mt. Abram for year-round outdoor recreational opportunities. This past year we supported providing the complimentary Ski Pass Program for students across Maine School Administrative District 44 – a great way to get young kids outdoors with friends, helping them learn to ski / ride, while possibly mentoring one another.  With that program, in 2022 we helped provide passes to 217 kids, of which 450 were eligible.   This summer we responded to multiple requests from local children to help them receive a complimentary pass for the Mt. Abram Bike Park.
