In the early season, it looks like uphill bounding with ski poles in hand, or running to the bike path and then switching from run shoes to roller skis for miles down the Norwottuck Rail Trail, headlamps lighting the way. It involves medicine ball strength workouts, track intervals in the dark and 1000-meter Skierg repeats. Early season looks like hiking up Mount Toby with teammates and friends on a Saturday morning. As the weather changes, practice moves to the rolling terrain of Cherry Hill golf course, groomed by our coaches (think snow!).
