The Rabbi's Discretionary Fund is a charitable fund of The Shul of New York. The Fund was created to aid people and families who may need a helping hand, and as part of the Shul's commitment to tikkun olam, acts of kindness to repair the world.
All monies donated to the Rabbi's Discretionary Fund will be distributed at the sole discretion of Rabbi Susan to those in the Shul of New York Family who find themselves in need, with the utmost care to preserve their dignity and confidentiality, as well as to communities in crisis. Fine Print: Rabbi's Discretionary Fund donations are fully tax deductible. Donations to the Rabbi's Discretionary Fund may not be earmarked for an individual and may not be directed towards another Shul fund. If you wish to make a donation to a specific Shul fund please click here. Donations made to the Rabbi's Discretionary Fund will not be directed towards Shul operating costs, programming costs, or for the personal benefit of the Rabbi or the Board of Directors.
