A group of students in maroon uniforms and a few adults pose with white pipes in front of a yellow building and a large black water tank.

At Loruvan School, water is part of what makes an ordinary school day possible. The school serves approximately 500 students, but reliable water access remains a basic challenge. Water is needed throughout the school day for sanitation, hygiene, food preparation, and other everyday needs. The school needs additional water storage to make sure water is available when students and teachers need it, especially during dry periods.A 5,000-liter water tank would provide that additional storage. The tank itself costs $600, with another $300 needed for delivery, parts and installation. That means one clear goal:5,000 liters. $900. One fully installed water tank. The goal is to get 2 tanks.
